Mr. M Prabhakar Rao, the Chairman and Managing Director of the NSL Group is a Gold Medalist from Benaras Hindu University in M.Sc (Agri) and stood 2nd during his graduation. Since 1982 when he joined the Company, his able leadership has enabled the group to grow manifold, diversifying into other fields like Power, Textiles & Infrastructure in the process. Thanks to his sound knowledge base and business acumen, Nuziveedu Seeds is now the largest privately held seed company in India while the cotton seeds division holds the majority share of the Indian market. In recognition of his contribution, he has been elected President- Indian Seed Industry Association, Member- Central Seed Certification Board, Member- Governing Board, Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University. Under his Aegis, the seeds company had been awarded the best agri company for the year 2008 by Biospectrum. He has been elected as advisor to the Government of India and the State Governments on all matters related with Seeds. The flagship, Nuziveedu Seeds Pvt Limited is also the Winner of DSIR – National Award, 2002 instituted by Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India for the R & D achievements of the company.

Cdr. Vinod Nathan (Retd), joined the company in October 2008 after working for 22 years with the Indian Navy. An Electrical Engineer holding Masters in Nuclear Engineering & Technology (IIT, Kanpur) & a certificate holder in Management (IIM, Lucknow), he brings with him the organizational capabilities imbibed from the Navy. He has handled numerous projects from conceptualization to induction in the past and is responsible for the management of all assets and joint developments of the Company.
